Unusual visitor to the reservoir.

20/08/64 - Single bird. Seen again on 26/08.

03/09/64 - 3 birds.

07/07/66 - Single bird.

10/07/69 - Single bird.

16/04/70 - Single bird.

28/04/77 - Single bird.

31/08/77 - 3 birds.

21/04/84 - Single bird.

15/07/88 - Single bird.

31/10/92 - Single bird.

26/11/98 - Single bird. (AJB).

21/08/04 - Single bird.

14/10/04 - Single bird.

27/07/05 - 2 in summer plumage and just one the next day.

07/08/06 - Single bird.

22/08/06 - 2 birds one of which remained for another 2 days. These 2 birds were chased by a young sparrowhawk which got its comeuppance when the local Kingfisher then flew straight at its head.(KGH.).

17/07/07 - one probable flew over.
