Kittiwake

A most unusual visitor to the reservoir. Bad conditions seem to have played a part with the following records.

07/08/79 - A single, dead adult bird. (HCS).

29/04/85 - 5 birds. Also present on 30/04, 4 birds on 01/05 & a single bird still present until 09/05. (BS).

08/11/97 - Single 1^st winter bird, bathing for 20 minutes. (DWH) & (AJB).

13/02/14 - Single adult (DWH) found dead the next day.
