Little Stint

A rare & accidental visitor to the reservoir. There is only one definite record to date.

17/09/98 - 2 juvenile birds, in flight around the reservoir, low over the water & being chased by hirundines (swallows & martins). Very nearly landed on the shoreline mud a couple of times. 'V' marking on the back were clearly visible. (DWH).

18/10/04 - 1 possible bird (DWH).
