A resident bird to the area & a nearby breeder. Sightings on the reserve are scarce.

1978 - Pair bred.

1980 - 2 pairs.

1982 - Single male.

1999 - 2 birds seen on 21/03/99 & 31/03/99.

2001 - 6 birds on 15/12/01 and 1 on 24/02/01.

2002 - 7 birds on 21/03/02 and 2 on 23/11/02.

2003 - 1 on 30/09/03

2004 - 1 on 13/04/04 and 1 on 25/08/04

2005 - 3 on 18/03

2006 - 1 on 21/07/06 and 2 on 29/07/06

2007 - 4 records of singles or pairs

2008 - 3 on 11/03/08
