Often just singles reported from the south end of the reservoir, but probably under-reported

02/08/59 - Maximum number of 25 birds.

14/04/95 - 5 singing males.

1999 - 2 singing males during April & May.

2000 - Singles in May and June

2001 - Singles on 15/07, 30/07 and 05/08

2002 - Singles on 22/03, 14/04, 18/04, 20/04 and 21/04

2003 - 2 on 24/03 and one on 28/03

2004 - 1 on 30/03, several records in April with 2 birds on 10/04. Single on 03/06

2005 - 2 on 02/04 and 3 singing on 06/04

2006 - 20 records with max of 10 on 23/04 around whole res and 4 on 09/05

2007 - 9 records from April to June with 2 on 02/05

2008 - Max 2 singing in April and May

2009 - single on 02/04/09 and another 22/04/09

2010 - 4 on 05/04 and 1 on 10/04 were the only records

2011 - 11 records with max 4 on 15/08

2012 - only 3 records with 1 on 01/04, 2 singing on 05/04 and 1 on 26/05

2013 - 6 records with 5+ on 09/04

2014 - only 4 records, singles apart from 2 on 22/04

2015 - The first year with no records since before 1999

2016 - 12 records with max 5 on 28/04. Singing bird at north end in June.

2017 - only 2 records with 2 on 30/03 and 2 on 02/04

2018 - only 2 records, 1 on 13/04 at the south end and another on 06/04 at the north end

2019 - only 1 record on 13/04 from Jim's field

2020 - Song heard on 06/04, 1 just outside area on 20/04 and song heard on 03/05

2021 - Song heard just north of the res area at the end of March. Just 1 singing at the south end on 09/05

2022 - No records this year!

2023 - One yellow looking phylloscopus warbler on 03/08 and 10/08 may have been this species
