The Tawny Owl was heard near the hide at dusk. Yesterday I saw droppings from a large roosting bird, close to the hide which might be from an Owl.

A pair of dragonflies were mating on this warm sunny day and a Brimstone butterfly and 2 Red Admirals were seen. 10 Teal are nice to see, but don't quite match the sight of nearly 6,000 that I saw exactly 1 week ago at Loch Leven in Scotland.
