You can use one of these pictures taken at the reservoir as a background to your desktop whether you have your screen resolution set to 1024x768 or 800x600 (and now 1280x960 for the latest ones).

Choose your screen resolution (choosing the wrong size works, but the quality will suffer). When the picture has loaded, right click on it in Internet Explorer and choose the 'Set as Background' option. That's it all done.
