The 2 'resident ' adult Mute Swans have suddenly
disappeared along with the 4 remaining cygnets who were too young
to fly. Quite a mystery.
The single grebe chick near the hide on 29th and 30th June has
disappeared and the parents appear to be repairing their nest in
the reeds. The nest on the south west side has today produced at
least 3 chicks, with another chick seen on the south east side and
at least one (there were 2) at the north end. There is believed
to be at least one nest still occupied at the north end.
